Which Macs can run Schema?

Schema runs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Apple Intelligence features such as PDF summaries and questions appear only on macOS 26 or later on a Mac that supports Apple Intelligence.

Where are my files saved?

In the folder you chose the first time you pressed + in the Semester column. You can move them anytime in Settings › Change Original Location.

How do I restore a deleted file?

Files and folders you delete in the app stay in the app’s Trash for 30 days, so you can restore them. For files deleted outside the app, such as in Finder, turn on “Detect Missing Files and Folders” in Settings, and Schema will offer to restore them the next time it opens.

Recording doesn’t work.

Make sure Schema is turned on in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone.

I don’t see Apple Intelligence features.

Turn on Apple Intelligence in System Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri. If the model is still downloading, the features appear when it finishes.

Where can I see the keyboard shortcuts?

Choose Help › Schema Help in the menu bar to see every shortcut.
